Thanks.

Also, one is never guaranteed success using this method. For instance example, instsample, STEVE has yet to learn the lyrics to Rick Astley's "Never gonna give you up" CORRECTLY.

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around
AND DESERT YOU

Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie
AND HURT YOU

Just sayin'.
Also, I'm counting this as a you being Rickrolled :Dbullelandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07772045774136463216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2586137391981433692.post-84582898107364272492010-06-20T03:30:54.379-07:002010-06-20T03:30:54.379-07:00This is basically how I live my life.
Simplicity ...This is basically how I live my life.

Simplicity is definitely key with the suggested participation point - especially if you're performing live. So many songs I play (mostly covers, but even a few of my own songs which I do) demand audience participation, which is made easier if you stick to these points. Playing a gig, if you can get a song the audience has never heard, stuck in their heads because of their part in the performance, you've nailed it.

I suppose in the pop world, all this does is produce simple, awful music, like Ms GaGa. It's the fact that the same things can be applied across all genres (except perhaps Minimalism and Serialism, which have no intention of becoming earworms) which blows my mind.

Basically yes, I agree with this blog. I'd also add that lyrically people should either be able to relate to the song, or have no idea what it means. Will Dixonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00844285427371234696noreply@blogger.com
